Les Suites Cinabre
HotelEurope, France
From $990
Les Suites Cinabre are two private apartments above the boutique of Cinabre, the Parisian silk accessories brand, in the Cité Bergère, a 19th-century passage in the 9th arrondissement. The street has barely changed in two centuries and is now partly listed as a historic monument. Each suite measures 100 square metres and was designed by Necchi Architecture. One has warm brown tones, rosewood furniture and a winter garden, and the other has a bold floral tapestry, a large curved sofa and an English-style wooden bathroom. Fabrics come from Pierre Frey, the handmade beds from Hästens, and the robes, scarves and stationery from Cinabre itself. Opéra Garnier is a short walk away.
Les Roches Rouges
HotelEurope, France
From $480
Les Roches Rouges sits directly against the Mediterranean outside Saint-Raphaël, with the red rock of the Estérel behind it and almost nothing separating the hotel from the sea. The architecture keeps a crisp mid-century Riviera spirit — white façades, striped awnings, pale timber and flashes of orange — while most rooms look straight across the water. Its most memorable feature is the natural seawater pool cut into the rocks beside a second swimming pool, with long lunches, swimming, paddleboarding and evenings on the terrace giving the hotel the easy rhythm of a classic Côte d’Azur summer.
Airelles Château de la Messardière
HotelEurope, France
From $1,200
Located on a hillside above Saint-Tropez, Château de la Messardière occupies a 19th-century estate surrounded by extensive Mediterranean gardens, with views toward Pampelonne Bay and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Restored by Airelles as a resort rather than a formal palace hotel, it combines historic architecture with multiple pools, a large spa, several restaurants and access to a private beach club on Pampelonne. Saint-Tropez and the beach remain close, but the elevated setting gives the property a noticeably more secluded feel.
70 Hectares…& l’Océan
HotelEurope, France
From $195
70 Hectares... & l’Océan is a 32-room retreat set among the pine forests of Seignosse, overlooking the golf course and close to the Atlantic coast of southwest France. The architecture takes its cues from the surrounding landscape, with extensive use of timber, large windows and interiors that combine contemporary furniture with natural materials. Days revolve around the outdoors, from surfing and golf to cycling around Hossegor, while a restaurant, spa and pool make it easy to stay within the property between excursions.
Ritz Paris
HotelEurope, France
From $2,500
Few hotels have influenced the idea of luxury quite like the Ritz Paris. César Ritz opened it on Place Vendôme in 1898 with chef Auguste Escoffier, introducing innovations that were radical for the period while attracting a remarkable cast of residents and regulars, from Coco Chanel to Ernest Hemingway. Its gilded salons, grand suites, formal gardens and legendary Bar Hemingway still carry the rituals of old Parisian luxury without turning the hotel into a museum.
Madame Rêve
HotelEurope, France
From $745
Madame Rêve occupies the former Poste du Louvre, turning one of central Paris’s landmark buildings into a contemporary hotel with panoramic views over the city. The interiors are warm, polished and slightly glamorous, while the long rows of windows following the slope of the roof give some of the upper rooms an almost ship-like quality. Above it all, the expansive rooftop terrace opens onto the Paris skyline.
Les Bains
HotelEurope, France
From $500
Few Paris hotels come with a past quite like Les Bains. The building began as a 19th-century bathhouse before becoming Les Bains Douches, the legendary nightclub that drew artists, musicians, designers and the fashion crowd through the 1980s and 1990s. Today, the hotel keeps that slightly hedonistic spirit alive through moody interiors, a club, restaurant and references to its former lives rather than pretending the history never happened
Le Meurice
HotelEurope, France
From $1,870
Le Meurice is one of Paris’s great palace hotels, combining historic grandeur with a long connection to artists and cultural figures. Its interiors reference Versailles, while contemporary interventions and the hotel’s relationship with art keep it from becoming purely formal or nostalgic. Facing the Tuileries on Rue de Rivoli, it carries the weight of a Paris institution while still allowing for a certain playfulness.
Le Grand Mazarin
HotelEurope, France
From $680
Le Grand Mazarin brings a playful maximalist energy to the Marais. Martin Brudnizki’s interiors layer colour, pattern, embroidery and French decorative references across 54 rooms and seven suites, creating something much more expressive than the usual Parisian luxury hotel. The pool, painted ceilings and richly decorated public spaces make the property feel almost theatrical.
